Biography 



Diane Winston is a communications executive with over 25 years of corporate experience with companies that include Citibank, AXA Financial and Pitney Bowes. She has led global initiatives impacting internal and external clients as well as defined revenue-impacting strategies for products, projects and change management efforts. Ms Winston is recognized as a practiced listener with strong interpersonal skills – qualities which have been highly valued by her senior management clients when seeking strategic direction for their communications initiatives.
After several years as a freelance consultant, she established Winston Strategic Partners, LLC, a specialized business strategy and communications consulting firm based in Norwalk, Connecticut. The firm is the vehicle through which clients can leverage communications to bridge management strategy and business implementation. For corporations undergoing organizational restructures, change management, transformations and other business-impacting initiatives, the firm defines communication strategies. For small businesses and non-profit organizations, the firm provides “on demand” communications and business strategy support including writing business plans, proposals, presentations, newsletters and articles; facilitating group meetings; and at the individual-level, the firm develops executive speeches, provides coaching on presentation skills, and writes personal profiles and resumes.
In addition to running her business, Diane shares her business insights and professional experiences with prospective and new small business owners as an occasional workshop speaker and Business Counselor with the Fairfield County Chapter of SCORE.
She is currently a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC); the American Marketing Association (AMA); National Association of Female Executives (NAFE); an active member of the Westchester/Greater Connecticut chapter of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA). She launched the chapter's Leaders of Tomorrow® (LOT) Youth Mentoring Program in 2006, served as LOT Chair for two years, and is currently a mentor. Her efforts were recognized by the chapter at the 2007 Annual Awards Program when she was presented with the President's Award.
Ms. Winston has an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago, a BA in political science from New York University and recently attended the Executive Education Program at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
She lives in Norwalk, Connecticut with her husband.
